Wansheng Studio is a two-person consultancy operating out of Hong Kong. We work with seed-stage startups and small product teams on backend systems, deployment pipelines, and the occasional frontend cleanup.

Our background is in distributed systems and platform engineering. We’ve shipped things that have to keep running at 3am — that informs the way we build everything else.

How we engage

We prefer short, well-scoped engagements: a month to build a thing, or two months to fix a thing. We don’t do retainers and we don’t do “advisory”.

Every line of code we write becomes yours. We hand over repos, infrastructure credentials, and runbooks at the end of the engagement.

What we won’t do

We don’t take on projects that require us to put our name on work we don’t believe in, and we don’t work on anything that involves deceptive user interfaces, surveillance, or financial systems without proper auditing.
